SHIPPING AND RETURNS policy
Below you can read about the shipment options for your order and how we handle refunds and returns.
Delivery within the Netherlands
Shipping within the Netherlands is free of charge.
All products are made to order and are usually ready to ship within 2-3 weeks. Your order will be sent well protected in a flat folding cardboard box made of recycled cardboard. Shipping of Fine Art Prints is provided by PostNL / DHL. You will receive an e-mail message when your order is shipped with a track-and-trace code. You can also choose to pick up your order at the Atelier in Amsterdam. Original paintings will be personally delivered. We will make an appointment after you have placed your order.
For international delivery we use the services of DHL and GLS. Your order is usually dispatched within 10-15 working days.
But it may take up to 4 weeks to arrive at your address. Note that international customs charges are the buyers responsibility.
Return Policy – Standard Fine Art Prints
The standard fine art prints are shipped sealed in a clear package. This allows you to view and assess the product properly. Fine Art Prints are very fragile products, they are custom made especially for you in a dust-free environment. Direct contact may damage the product, which is why the product is shipped sealed. You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason, provided the seal has not been broken. If the seal is broken, your order is final and cannot be returned. If you make use of your right of cancellation, you have another 14 days after cancellation to return your product. You will then be credited the full purchase amount including any shipping costs. To exercise this right, please send an email to: email@example.com. You will then receive a return label with which you can return the package. The costs for returning from your address to the webshop are for your own account and will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to us with all accessories supplied – in its original condition and packaging. We will then refund the purchase amount due within 14 days after registration of your return, provided the product has already been returned in good order.
Return Policy – Personalized Fine Art Prints & Fine Art Prints with framing
Personalized Fine Art Prints are personalized especially at your request and provided with a personal message with your name. These products that you buy through our web shop are custom made according to the specification you entered. The right of withdrawal therefore does not apply. The sale is final after successful payment. In the highly unlikely event that the Personalized Fine Art Print does not meet your specifications or you believe that there are any issues with the quality of the product, we will endeavor to resolve the situation to your satisfaction as soon as possible. Please contact us to answer your specific questions and find a solution.
Return Policy – Original masterpieces
Original masterpieces are unique pieces of art and will be delivered according to a contract. You cannot purchase it directly in the webshop, because due to Dutch law we are obliged to verify your identity before we can proceed with the transaction of an original artwork. If you are not 100% sure of your purchase choice, we recommend that you request a 14-day trial placement. This is possible if you live in the Netherlands only. In this way you can experience the charm of the painting in your own interior. If you regret your purchase during the trial period, you can contact us by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then make an appointment with you to collect the artwork from you free of charge. We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days of receipt, provided the artwork is in its original condition.
Return Policy – Commissioned paintings
Commissioned paintings are delivered according to contract. You cannot purchase it directly in the webshop, because due to Dutch law we are obliged to verify your identity before we can proceed with the transaction of an original work of art. These artworks are completely custom made and personalized to meet your specification and therefore this order cannot be canceled or returned. In the highly unlikely event that the artwork does not meet your specifications or you believe there are any issues with the quality product, we will try to resolve the situation to your satisfaction as soon as possible.
